When it comes to losing weight and making healthier choices in your life, I’m of the school of thought that small changes can make a BIG difference over time. Today, I want to talk to you about some of my favorite products that are small in size, but pack a wallop when it comes to making an impact on your health/fitness/workout goals.
Road ID Bracelet
For any of my runners out there, this really ought to be a no-brainer. And if you haven’t made the investment for a RoadID bracelet by now, then shame on you! Get to it! This little ID bracelet allows you to put your name, emergency contact information, any allergies, and other important information on it. It comes in several different sizes, which allows you to customize how much information you want to include on the bracelet. They even have an option where you can keep your updated medical and emergency contact information online to provide 24/7 emergency response support all year round! If you want to see a more in-depth review of what I thought of the RoadID, you can check it out here.
If you want to have an idea as to how many steps you take and how well you are sleeping, then a Fitbit just might the ticket. Take a look at the review I did here, but in short this little bracelet is an awesome little tool that packs a punch when you sync it up with other fitness apps.
Stinky shoes? Smelly gym bag? We’ve all been there, it’s totally fine – no judgement from me! But if you’d like something to help fix the funk, then sneaker balls would be the ticket! You can find them at any Marshalls or TJ Maxx in the athletic section, or you can go right to the manufacturer’s website right here. For about $3 you get two balls that will suck the stink out of just about anything! I keep a pair in my gym duffle bag, my gym back pack, and in several pairs of my running shoes. They last for a pretty nice length of time…the first pair I opened about four months ago are still working hard at removing odors! These little things were probably my happiest of random little finds, and now I have them everywhere!
Zumbar Soaps & Muscle Rub
Oh the Sports Gods surely must have been smiling down upon me when I found this stuff!!! Got a muscle ache? Rub some of this stuff on it and just wait for the tingly good feeling kicks in. It’s helped me through a good number of aches and pains, especially when I had this nagging lower back issue a few months back. Best part is that it lasts for a good amount of time and a little bit of it goes a long way. Indigo Wild is the company that makes this stuff. They have an entire line of items that are geared towards athletes, oh and they also sells soaps…which I am in LOVE WITH!!!!!!!!!!! I have a thing for bath and body products, and right now their Frankincense and Patchouli soap is just…AMAzeBALLs!!!!!!!!
Steve’s Original Paleokits
Last, and certainly NOT least…Steve’s Original Paleokits. I did a review of them not too long ago, which you can find right here. There are a number of different products within the product line, but I seem to like the actual Paleokits the most. I will usually throw them in my gym bag as a post-workout snack.
Now, these are just a few of my favorite items, but I wanted to point them out because they’re all relatively inexpensive and have helped me tremendously with my active lifestyle. And in the spirit of giving…I’ll be giving some of these very items away. YEP!!!! One lucky reader will get their own little care package from yours truly that includes some of these very items along with some other goodies…I’ll be putting enough in this box to share with a friend of your choosing, because sharing is caring!!!!Submit your entry in one of three ways:
