Morning Reading

I found this article on Runner’s World this morning and wanted to share…the article can be found here. Essentially, it talks about a question I’ve been whining about for awhile now…how summer running differs from cold weather running, and why bother? It gave me some pretty good reasons why to bother, as well as some good tips on how to take a look at summer running. I’m very curious to see what fall/winter runs will be like if I’m averaging a 14:30 – 14.45 min/mi. I want to say my effort level in the summer is one that is focused more on getting through the run than going all out. The humidity in this area kinda sucks, and I would like to be able to breathe while running – wouldn’t you? lol
